Over the years issue of who leads the way between OBO and Starboy in terms of personal wealth has been a heavily debated subject, as none could come up with a concrete proof as to which of the guys ranked more in wealth.

However, with the Nigeria Music industry taking an upward swing ever since the turn of the millennia, with artists ranking in millions for shows and endorsement deals, that puzzle seems to have been broken. Now the networth of the two heavyweights have been spelt out in the open and who leads the way in terms of wealth is very apparent.

Many believe Wizkid to be the richer one. The reason for that conviction is that Wizkid started his music career at the age of 11 and had gained a list of sponsors and investorsn and became the ambassador for one or two blue-chip companies. But by the end of 2017, his net worth was estimated to be $12m(4.3bn) according to TUKO News.

Davido on the other hand, did not start as young as Wizkid. However, he quickly gained enough wealth to shove the international Starboy behind him, with an estimated net worth $16m (N5.7) due to incomes from his Tour, Concerts and Endorsement deals.
