Barcelona legend Xavi launches fresh attack on Ronaldo

Barcelona legend Xavi Hernandez has launched another attack on Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo despite his brace against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

Xavi was of the opinion that Neymar had a better game than the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

The Al Sadd SC midfielder insisted that Neymar is better than Ronaldo when he was quizzed.

"They said that Cristiano was still better than Neymar. No, no, it's unfair. What did Ronaldo do in the game?
"Scored a penalty and a knee goal... But what about the dangerous situations created by Neymar? And the counterattacks that he launched, the fear that he sowed in Madrid?"

Xavi did give Los Blancos somewhat of a backhanded compliment when he claimed: "They don't care if they are superior if they are dominated. Their philosophy is simply to win."

PSG will be under intense pressure to overturn the two-goal margin against Real Madrid, when the Champions travel to France for the return leg of the match on March 6.
