Nigeria Strikers Burst The Net In Turkey

It was a good weekend for the two Nigerian strikers – Emem Eduok and Aminu Umar – as they found the back of the net for their respective clubs – Kasimpasa and Osmanlispor – in the Turkish Super Lig.

Former Dolphins striker Eduok drew Kasimpasa level after 19 minutes at Sivasspor and the game eventually ended in a 2-2 draw.

The 24-year old has now scored seven goals in the Turkish league this season.

Compatriot Kenneth Omeruo, who is on loan from Chelsea, played from start to finish for Kasimpasa.

Meanwhile, Nigeria U23 international Aminu Umar opened scoring for Osmanlispor after 17 minutes against Bursaspor, who had Eagles star Shehu Abdullahi booked in the 43rd minute.

It was Aminu Umar’s fifth goal of the campaign.

Eagles midfielder Mikel Agu played the entire game for Bursaspor, while defender William Troost-Ekong was suspended after he was sent off last weekend.

Osmanlispor won the home game 2-1.
