Arsenal are poised to offload Nigerian-born striker Chuba Akpom from their books as it is understood that the player is close to joining Sint-Truiden in a £2million permanent deal.
The striker progressed through the Arsenal ranks but has been unable to establish himself in the first-team fold at the Emirates.

Akpom has spent a series of spells out on loan and spent the second half of last campaign with the Belgian side, scoring six times in 16 games.
The 22-year-old is in the final 12 months of his deal in north London and the Gunners look set to cash in, with a number of clubs in Belgium and France showing an interest in his services, according to the Independent.
Akpom who has made just 12 first-team appearances for Arsenal is very eligible to play for Nigeria and he showed interest playing an unofficial friendly for the Super Eagles.
