Southampton celebrated a huge win on Tuesday night after seeing off unsafe Swansea City 1-0 at the Liberty Stadium to confirm West Brom's relegation on a day the Baggies manager Darren Moore bagged the Premier League manager of the month award.
West Brom needed both sides to share spoils as they were both on 33 points prior to the game but a second-half strike by Manolo Gabbiadini made sure West Brom's eight-year stay in the Premier League is over.

The vital arrived after Dusan Tadic had earned Southampton a corner and it looked like the chance was gone but the ball was knocked back in for Charlie Austin, whose shot was superbly blocked by Lukasz Fabianski but into the path of substitute Manolo Gabbiadini who was there to bundle home.
Swansea are now three points adrift of Southampton - and safety - and will go into Sunday's final game of the season occupying the final relegation spot.
Southampton's considerably better goal difference over Swansea means even a defeat at Manchester City will keep them up, as long as the Swans do not make up a 10-goal swing when they face Stoke.
